Dr. Kim performs comprehensive primary ocular exams, fits a variety of contact lenses, co-manages post-operative patients, and evaluates patients for diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration and other retinal pathology. She also provides treatment options for patients with dry eye syndrome.
She is a participant in the InfantSee and Vision USA programs.
Her professional memberships include the American Optometric Association, the Ohio Optometric Association, and past president of the Illinois College of Optometry's chapter of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Kim earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She received her Doctorate in Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, she currently resides in Hudson with her husband (Dr. Peter Schmid) and their two children.
Having more than 23 years of diverse experiences, especially in Optometry, Dr. Schmid performs comprehensive primary care ocular examinations, fits contact lenses, co-manages post-operative cases including cataract and refractive surgery patients. He also evaluates and treats patients with diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other eye diseases.
His professional memberships include the American Optometric Association, Ohio Optometric Association, Beta Signa Kappa Honor Society, and he is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He is a past examiner with the National Board of Examiners of Optometry and a participant in the InfantSee and Vision USA programs.
Dr. Schmid earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Superior and his Doctor of Optometry degree at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. After graduation, Dr. Schmid completed an ocular disease residency at the Cleveland VA Medical Center.
Originally from Wisconsin, Dr. Schmid resides in Hudson with his wife (Dr. Susie Kim) and their two children.
Dr. Bob Woodruff is an optometrist practicing in northeast Ohio. He has been in practice for over 40 years. He was born in Akron, raised in Mentor, and graduated from Mentor High School. He attended The Ohio State University and completed his Doctor of Optometry degree there with honors. He is a member of the Ohio Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association.
He has extensive training and experience in co-management of cataract and Lasik surgery as well as managing diabetic eye disease, glaucoma, cataracts, and dry eye disease. He prides himself in the newest contact lens options and glasses lens options.
Dr. Bob is married to his wife Nancy and they enjoy three grandchildren. Dr. Bob and Nancy live in Sagamore Hills. They enjoy sports-spectating (especially those their grandchildren are in!), occasional travel, and family times. They are also active in various things in their church, Northfield Baptist Church, including a food pantry for those in need in their community. Dr. Bob has also traveled multiple times to Honduras in medical missions providing eye care for the Honduran people.
Dr. Jones grew up in Medina, Ohio. He attended The University of Akron, majoring in Biochemistry, before obtaining his Doctorate of Optometry at The Ohio State University in 2023. Dr. Jones completed rotations at the Akron VA and Roholt Vision Institute where expanded his knowledge of ocular disease and provided pre- and post-operative care for refractive and cataract surgery patients.
He also rotated through several specialty clinics at Ohio State including low vision, pediatrics, contact lens, binocular vision, and advanced ocular care. While at Ohio State he was a member of the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists and accompanied them on a mission trip to Jamaica, where he performed eye exams for the local community.
Dr. Jones is passionate about optometry and strives to help his patients see at the best of their ability. Outside the office, Dr. Jones enjoys spending time with his wife, hiking, playing golf, and volunteering at church.
